Shannon Fausey, our realtor, was a steady and dependable guide during our home sale and purchase of a new home. After owning our home for many years we were “out of the loop” in terms of current real estate laws and practices. Shannon explained (and re-explained) the multiple forms, fees and practices that eventually led to the sale of our house. She held our hands as our spirits waivered during the months of low activity on the sale and guided our thinking about declining market prices.
Shannon was never too busy to answer a question or bring around a client to view the house. She arranged for three open houses even though turn out in our rural area was predictably low. As a buyer emerged, she spent hours with us and with the buyers’ realtor negotiating offers and counter-offers. It was a surprise to us just how much time each home sale takes.
I would highly recommend Shannon Fausey for her personal attention to buyer and seller needs and wishes, for her strong sense of business ethics, and for her enduring energy and optimism that we would at last sell our home and find the retirement home we sought.
